Dr. Igor Yusupov (yoo-SOO-pohv) founded Arizona Brain and Spine Center in 2010 with a simple belief: patients deserve to be heard, understood, and treated with precision and compassion. A board-certified neurosurgeon trained at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he also completed his neurosurgery residency, Dr. Yusupov earned membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for his academic excellence and leadership.
He has dedicated his career to advancing minimally invasive spine surgery, focusing on techniques that reduce tissue trauma, shorten recovery times, and help patients return to their lives as quickly and safely as possible.
Outside the operating room, Dr. Yusupov is a devoted father of three daughters and a proud grandfather. He enjoys sailing, traveling, and exploring fine wines — passions that reflect his appreciation for craftsmanship, discipline, and lifelong learning.
